Happy New Year 2015! (1/1/15)

Dear MEDL,

2014 accelerated at such a speed I couldn't handle, but here we are in 2015, which is dreamlike.

What was your New Year celebration like? Was is spent delightfully with your loved ones? Mine was magnificent and well spent with friends and family.

Last night my family & I celebrated by watching the fireworks at the local park, a tradition we've been following for three years now. The only bad thing about it was the rain pouring heavily and drenching our clothes.

I'd like to begin 2015 with a lot of blog posts since I only posted 33 posts last year (hehe, "last year"), so I'm taking a blogging challenge I found on Pinterest.

The first day calls for a self-portrait and five random facts about me, so here you go:

1: I start secondary school this year
2: My favourite Disney princess is Belle
3: The TV show 'Bones' inspired my interest in forensic anthropology
4: I cannot draw nor do anything artsy as all my other friends can.
5: This is my favourite song at the moment:

I love this song because of the beautiful soprano voice of Judy Kuhn, the anger in Lea Salonga's singing, and Michael Ball's excitement clearly heard in his vocals. The ending is supremely magical.
