Biking, catching, throwing, balancing- oh, the possibilities are endless.
Today my class and another one had such a busy day excersizing that when we were finished we all collapsed to the floor.
First up was traditional Maori games. There were two men that taught us how to play games that the Maoris played. The first game that we played was called Mitimiti. The objective of the game is to lay out sticks and lay one stick in the center then place other sticks to form a horizontal mat then try to avoid stepping on the sticks. I think we played it five to six times. After that game was finished we played Ti Uru (you can find it out yourself, I'm tired of explaining now).
We played a couple of hand games then it was time for lunch.
Lunch was over and it was time to put on your helmet and head to the court with your bike.
When we arrived at the court there were three men who taught us some games to play with your bike. They taught us to scoot, ride in zig-zags, check our bike and helmet and taught us this bike game called the 'box game' (once again, I'm tired to explain but I will explain tomorrow).
"They make us do hard things and it's too hot to excersize." Samantha E moaned.
Luckily, the home time bell rang and we all ran off to our homes to relax and rest.
