The Amazing Race (24.8.12)

For Golden Time this afternoon (if you don't know Golden Time, this post will explain in the last paragraph.) our class Room 5 did an Amazing Race challenge.

In my group there was Samantha I, Te Mania and my two Filipino classmates John Paul and Janna.
Our first task was eat snake soup (it was jelly with silicone snakes and bugs in it) and Te Mania took the challenge. Te Mania put a blindfold on and started eating with a spoon. On her spoon I saw a snake. She was about to eat it but the silicone snake dropped. When Te Mania finished the challenge, she took her blindfold off and moved on to the other challenge.

The next task was to count how many skips it takes a team mate to do in 1 minute. John Paul accepted the challenge and started skipping. He looked tired and stopped for about 3 seconds then got onto the business.
I think he did 35 skips? I'm not too sure, but he did a great job for our team.

My turn to do a challenge. The challenge was to go around the whole school playground with the obstacles like monkey bars, a bridge, etc. During the race, I started to slow down, but when I finished it, I starred at my hands and saw blisters everywhere. Good thing it was over.

My whole team and I walked to the sandpit to do the fourth challenge. The task was to make a sand  garden with nature's pretty plants. Samantha decided to do the challenge and got the base ready. She got some plants and started to burry it onto the base.

Janna was the only person who hasn't done one. Her task was to put her hands onto oily and slimy stuff and try to get three f's written on a jellybean. "It's so slimy!" She screeched as she tried to pull out jellybeans.

When Janna finished, it was time to edit our video my other team mates filmed while they were doing the challenges. On the class iPads, we went on the iMovie app and edited our individual videos with music. We were demo-ing the music and found the perfect audio to go with our shortened clips.

Our team finished our editing on the iPads and then went back to class and fnished the day with a prayer.
The hometime bell goes and me and my class go home with our backpacks on.
