Sore throat (30.6.12)

*Cough cough* I have an annoying sore throat today. I drank water but it didn't help. It's nighttime now and it's still sore. There's no medicine except for sore throat lollies but they don't help. They just make the sore throat worse. I ha dot go to a party today and avoid eating/drinking food that contained sugar. I just can't stop thinking about this. It's getting pretty annoying.

Last Day of Term 2 (29.6.12)

Today is the last day of Term 2. I'm going to miss my friends and classmates at school. The holidays last for two weeks. So in those two weeks I will be dying of boredom. I think all of my posts during the two weeks will be about boredom. Let's just see later...
But on the bright side, we got to wear whatever we want! Last days are usually wear-what-you-want days (A.K.A Mufti Days). But.. You have to pay a gold coin like 1 dollar coin or 2 dollar coin. Here are some pics of what I wore today:

So here is how my day went:

In the morning (9:00 am-10:30) we went to church with the whole senior school (we have a catholic church right outside our school) and after mass our class got to drink hot chocolate and some crackers to keep ourselves warm.

In the middle of the day (11:00-12:30) we did an easy word find with words that are about structures and then we packed up the classroom. 

In the afternoon (1:30-3:00) we had free time and played with balloons for 2 hrs and got ready to go home then went home missing our friends.

Winter School Disco! (28.6.12)

Tonight was the winter school disco. It was boring since Samantha wasn't there. I bought Zombie Chews and Water. The music was loud (obviously), people were running around like they're hyper, there was a limbo game and a conga line and other things that ordinary discos usually have. For some unusual reason, the lights were on. Aren't discos supposed to be dark?

Temple Run at School (27.6.12)

At school today my teacher brought her iPod touch. We played the two versions; Brave and the normal temple run. Lots of my classmates played and enjoyed the game. The person with the highest score was Samantha E (my best friend). Her score was 1,115,000. My highest score was 500,000. For me, it's impossible to get 1 million.

Singing Comp (26.6.12)

At lunch time we were bored so me, Samantha E, Samantha I and 2 of my other friends had a singing comp and pretended it was American Idol. First up was Samantha I and she sang amazingly, so she passed! Next was Samantha E. She sang like an angel but she didn't pass (We have to take turns singing and judging). After Samantha E, it was my turn. The 2 of my friends said I sang beautifully and I passed! Next it was my other 2 friends' turn and they both passed. We had other competitions for the people who passed and there came down the top 2, me and Samantha I. We sang our hearts out but the winner was me! All of them clapped for me and I was smiling. What an awesome lunch time!

Playing with 5 year olds (25.6.12)

At lunch time today a 5 year old looking girl asked me to play with her since her friends were busy. I accepted and said see you later to Samantha. Samantha was okay with it because she was riding a bike. At the start it was awkward because me and her were so quiet and we had nothing to do, but at the end we had a great time playing and talking in the school garden. Since it's my last year of primary, I should be a role model to others.

Ice Skating With Family (24.6.12)

Today was my 2nd try of ice skating, but this time it's with my family, not my classmates. Mum and dad each had a turn, but my sister didn't. She's too young to skate. Dad made it to the center without any help. But mum was the opposite. She was on the hand rail all the time. I told her to come to the center with me, but she refused. Mum didn't want to fall down and get wet, so I skated off to the opposite end of the rink. After skating all of us went to an ice cream parlor just across the road. I had a soft served ice cream with sprinkles, mum had a coffee flavored ice cream and dad and my sister had nothing since they both had ice cream already. Boy what an awesome weekend! Now it's back to school again. I wish the weekend lasted longer!

Trip from Auckland (23.6.12)

Oh gosh, I'm so exhausted from my trip to Auckland and back. During our way to Auckland, I had this kind of motion sickness. I had a headache, a sore stomach, sore arms and sore legs. I went to the Auckland airport to see my aunty's friend. We waited for hours and hours for her. I think her flight was delayed. Next, we went to Sylvia Park (a gigantic mall) and ate heaps of stuff from McDonald's to hard lollipops. I'm going to make this post short because my hands and arms are still bugging me from all the pain.

FOREVER ALONE (22.6.12)

I'm so forever alone without Samantha. Samantha is my only bff that hangs out with me. The rest of my other bffs hang out with their other friends. At school today I had to do a science project alone. And yes it was hard. At lunch time today I was just walking around quietly not saying a word even though people wanted to talk to me. If someone wanted to talk to me, I would just say shh. Wonder where's Samantha now...

Anime Love (21.6.12)

I have a secret anime addiction. The only one that know I love anime is my best friend. We always talk about anime, watch anime videos and draw anime characters! Samantha has an anime magazine and we sometimes try to pretend we're animes. Me and Samantha are Anime Addicts!

Ice Skating! (20.6.12)

Today was epically awesome because my class got to go ice skating! Our teacher let us go ice skating for a end of term treat. We ice skated at the Harcourts ice skating rink, a portable ice rink that tours around New Zealand during this winter season. Since it was my first time ice skating, I fell about 11 times. My stomach and legs feel sore now. Remember Te Mania from my blog post "My school"? She was the fastest ice skater in the class. She hardly fell on the ice. Sorry I couldn't bring my camera and take some shots. I didn't bring my camera because the camera might break on the ice.
I was able to go to the center without any help. I thought I couldn't do it, but I achieved it. 

Crazy Exams (19.6.12)

Today I had 3 exams: Spelling, writing and maths.

Spelling was the easiest exam because I studied 3 days in a row. They also give you practice questions to do at home.

Writing was super easy just like spelling. The teacher gave us a picture of two dogs playing on the beach. My story was short, but I filled it in with advanced words.

Maths was okay. The teacher gave us a maths test sheet and we got only 20 minutes to fill it in. 

Get well Samantha :( (18.6.12)

Today Samantha was not at school. Then I heard that she is sick today. I don't know what kind of sickness she has but I hope she gets better ASAP.

Favorite Songs (17.6.12)

 This isn't really a blog post. It's more like a song review.

Music is what we hear in our everyday lives. One of my favorite songs is Eyes Open by Taylor Swift. You should really listen to it!

I love Taylor Swift. She's beautiful in the inside and outside. She also has an elegant voice. I wanna be like her someday. 

One of my other favorite songs is Dark Side by Kelly Clarkson.

People are calling her fat. She is not fat! Just like Taylor Swift, she is a huge inspiration. I don't know why she went inactive in the past.

Since it's Saturday and there's no school, the boredom starts! When I'm bored I just go to sleep or eat.

Ameba Pico Addiction and Electronics for Golden Time (14.6.12)

I just love Ameba Pico! Ameba Pico is a virtual world where you can make new friends, decorate your rooms and play games! Here are some snapshots of my character in the game:

Golden Time is a treat for students in my school. It is held every Friday of school. The teacher picks what will be for Golden Time (eg. Going on the playground, free time on the computer, etc.) and we go with it. So visit the blog tomorrow to see what my wacky class looks like! :)

School Photos (13.6.12)

Today was my school photos day. I looked horrid. Mum did my hair (If I did my hair it would look messy) but my classmates looked more amazing than me. Aghhhh! After the proper photo, we got to do an awesome wacky photo! (Seniors get to do it not middle or junior) And I was doing the thumb and index finger pose. It looks like this:

And my other classmates did cute poses. My best friend (Samantha) smiled and did chubby cheeks for the wacky photo. I'm not sure what my other classmates did...

Hello! Welcome to Marian's Daily Life! My name is Marian (But you already know that by the title) and this is a blog that I will post everyday about my daily life. I live in New Zealand (I'm not telling town because of random stalkers) and I love it. There's wonderful people, beautiful places, epic adventures and more to come! My best friend is Samantha E. She's the same age as me and we love doing wacky things together. Sometimes I won't be able to post here because of my busy schedules.
